Prof. Sabu Thomas has been awarded ₹78.96 lakhs in funding under the SPARC (Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration) programme for his research project focused on the ;sustainable sequential green extraction of bioactive marine polysaccharides and their application in diabetic wound healing hydrogels’. The project aims to strengthen international research collaboration with University of Alabama and contribute to innovative applications of hydrogels in diabetic wound healing.
